This is with reference to your RTI application dated 15/05/2017 received in this Date. on 22/05/2017.
2. After careful consideration of your application on the subject along with provision contained in RTI Act as well as information received from concerned branch, it is to inform you that,
a) Security forces including CRPF are exempted to provide information except information related to allegation of corruption/ violation of human rights under Section 24(1) of RTI Act-2005.
b) In the instant matter, there appears to be no violations of Human Rights as well as facts of the case do not attract the allegations of Moreover, your application does not make any reference to such allegations. Hence this department is not liable to provide any information in this regard to you under RTI Act-2005.
c) Moreover, it is intimated that the enquiry report contains various security & tactics related issues and can not be shared under RTI Act on ground that it might adversely affect our strategic response.
3. If you arc not satisfied with this reply, you may prefer an appeal under Section 19 of the RTI Act-2005 to Shri Arun Kumar, IGP(Adm), Appellate authority, Dte. Genl, CRPF, COO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi (Phone No. 011-24369751, E-mail-igadm@crpf.gov.in) within 30 days from its receipt.
