The Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) has issued a corrigendum regarding Notification No. 50/2024-Customs, originally published on December 30, 2024. The correction pertains to a typographical error in the tariff item listed in the notification. As per the revised details, in the table under serial number (4), the tariff code “20042110” has been corrected to “22042110”. The amendment was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), under G.S.R. 109(E) on February 3, 2025. The corrigendum ensures accurate classification and compliance with customs regulations. The notification was issued under the authority of the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) by Deputy Secretary Amreeta Titus.

G.S.R. 109(E).—In the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 50/2024-Customs, dated the 30th December, 2024, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 788 (E), dated the 30th December, 2024, on page number 460, against serial number (4), in the table, in column (2), in line 2, for “20042110”, read “22042110”.
