The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), a statutory body under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, has announced a waiver of the late fee for the December 2024 session of CS examinations. This decision comes in response to technical issues affecting the examination enrollment system. Students can now submit their enrollment applications without a late fee until October 10, 2024, extended from the previous deadline of September 25, 2024. For submissions made from October 11 to October 15, a late fee will apply, and no applications will be accepted after this date. Additionally, the deadline for applications seeking paper-wise exemptions based on higher qualifications has also been extended to October 15, 2024. Students who have already paid the late fee of ₹250 will receive a refund. The Change Request Window will reopen from October 16 to November 20, 2024. The examination schedule remains unchanged, with exams starting on December 21, 2024.

WAIVER OF LATE FEE FOR SUBMISSION OF EXAMINATION FORMS FOR DECEMBER, 2024 SESSION OF CS EXAMINATIONS

In view of technical issues in the system, it has been decided to waive the Late Fee for submission of examination enrollment application for December, 2024 Session of CS Executive and Professional Programme Examinations.

The last date for submission of examination enrollment application has been extended up to 10th October, 2024 in place of 25th September 2024 without late fee and the last date to submit Examination Enrollment with Late fee from 11th October, 2024 to 15th October 2024 and after the said date no examination enrollment application shall be accepted under any circumstances.

It has also been decided to extend the last date for submission of application for grant of paper-wise exemption on the basis of higher qualifications viz. LL.B. and ICMAI final pass and Addition of Module for December 2024 session of Examination upto 15th October, 2024 in place of 10th October 2024.

Please note that students who have already paid the late fee of Rs. 250/- will be refunded. Additionally the Change Request Window will now reopen from 16th October 2024 (instead of 11th October 2024) and will remain open until 20th November 2024.

It may be further noted that there is no change in the schedule of conduct of December 2024 Session of examinations and the same will commerce from 21st December, 2024 as scheduled.
