Brief of the case:

  • The Hon’ble Delhi HC in the above cited case held that threating letter issued by professional with reminder of unpaid professional dues is unethical conduct which is not expected by members of a civil society to be committed by a professional like that of Chartered Accountant who is looked upon by the society as a dignified professional.
  • Therefore, such an act is clear case of professional misconduct though specifically not enumerated in the concerned provision.

It’s a very good decision on professional ethics and conduct of a professional service providers like Chartered Accountants and even to apply on Doctors and Lawyers too. Being a professional there are responsibilities that should have been followed by us for the cause of the society and even for individual without thing about the benefit.
In that course of life NALSA is going to launched an awareness theme song through all movie halls before the film show:
“Ek Mutthi Aasmaan Pe Haq Humara Bhi Hai:
“Aasmaan mein ek mutthi aasmaan pe haq inka bhi hai, is Hindustan mein haq inka bhi hai.”
