The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) today announced the following results
1. Chartered Accountants Final (existing) held in May, 2010.
2. Chartered Accountants Final (New Course) held in May, 2010.
3. Common Proficiency Test (Paper Pencil Mode) held on June 20, 2010.
Since December1949, the Chartered Accountancy Examination is held twice in a year.
The toppers of Chartered Accountants Final (existing) Examinations held in May, 2010 are from district Nagaur (Rajasthan), Kolkata and Ahmedabad.
The details of the top three rank holders on all India basis for Chartered Accountants Final(existing course) along with the marks secured by them are mentioned at Annexure-A. The pass percentage of students in Final (existing course) is placed at Annexure-E.
The toppers of Chartered Accountants Final (New Course) exam held in May, 2010 are from New Delhi, Mumbai and Sri Ganganagar (Rajasthan).
The details of the top three rank holders on all India basis for Chartered Accountants Final (New Course) along with the marks secured by them are mentioned at Annexure-B. The pass percentage of students in Final (New Course) is placed at Annexure-E.
The toppers of Common Proficiency Test (Paper-Pencil Mode) held on 20th June, 2010 are from Udaipur (Rajasthan), Badlapur (Maharashtra), Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Mumbai, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad, Jaipur (Rajasthan), Tirupathi & Vijaywada(Andhra Pradesh) and Ludhiana(Punjab).

Do CA , they r never unemployed and will never , u can Earn with no limit, its cheapest course , and much guidance, online material is available After 1 or 2 years situation will change According to report ( American jobs council , UK accountancy , EU accountancy)Indian CA’s will be higher paid CA’s in the world with many fold increase in demand for them and fresher CA, s would get around minimum 10-12 Lac and more package, there would be hiring spree for Indian CA, s, will be in much great demand therefore many foreign students r also trying to get this professional course , it will be highest paid Accountancy professional course in the world and they would be scarcity of CA’s.They earn many times more than engineers ,BHMS and homeopathy doctor And even more than MBBS Doctors
those who really think they hav the credential then why they r stuck in a futile field and desperately screaming like a moron.i dont understand y iitjee is dragged into this matter.i suggest it should be replaced with CAT or equivalent.so dont lose ur heart and prepare to confront the coveted CAT.

The students who are saying that entrance should be made tough I completely go against this statement .There are students who ahve just passed 51% in cpt and have done well in CA FINAL exams .It is just a matter of time and the time to understand the things.
Directly I want to say that if you have analysis skills and passions to became CA you should go through with apart from paying attention to other myths that can divert you from your path.
what about c.a final results of overseas….
Students entering any professional course like medicine, engineering, MBA are guaranteed to pass- the results are more than 90%. What kind of a course is this where the pass percentage is only 3% and ruining people’s lives. I think these kind of results are going to dissuade students from pursuing CA and only then the institute will understand.

ca cpt exam must be tougher so only selected and sincere students ll be allowed for further studies.icai must maintain quality as like IIT.as it is a professional course there must some challenge in entrance cpt exam.not only pcc and final should be hard but also cpt shud challenging
To reduce casual approach of examinees just to take a chance and appear in examination without proper proparation it is advisable to hold examination once only in a year instead of twice/ thrice in a year. Exams can be held at a time when schools and colleges are closed, lesser candidates can be placed in any room, better vigilance can be maintained.
Once in a year exam can also improve availability of examiners and paper setters. There should be five to ten series of question papers for each subject.
To reduce bias of examiners, more objective questions can be provided.
I totally agree with all thye comments above. The entrance exams should be difficult n not the finals where in the students are totally stuck. in such a situation they can t even leave the course. ICAI jus knows to earn money thats it!!!

What’s this f? A person who got less than 60% marks is 1st Rank holder……What is indicates..the difficulty level or level of dumbness…… people who got 40/41 marks in practical subject got 2nd/3rd rank!!!
Entrance exam of CA should be more tough as JEE, AIEEE & PMT.When entry is tough, only competent people can join CA.So that quality of CA should improve which the industry really requires.
what d hell is going on with results of icai. the percentage become narrower. this shows the intention of the icai. the percentage of enterence exam is good. this shows that icai only wants to earn money by capturing more people and then make them fix as a ca student only and not a ca.
