The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced a revision in the fees for verification and obtaining certified copies of answer books for Chartered Accountants examinations. As per the announcement dated 18 December 2025, the Examination Committee has reduced the verification fee from ₹100 to ₹50 per paper and significantly lowered the fee for certified copies from ₹500 to ₹100 per paper. These revised rates will apply uniformly across Foundation, Intermediate, Final, and Post Qualification Course (PQC) examinations. The changes are intended to benefit candidates seeking re-evaluation-related services after the declaration of results of the January 2026 CA examinations. Candidates applying for verification or certified copies of answer books are required to pay the revised fees along with their applications. The announcement clarifies that applications submitted after the January 2026 results must strictly adhere to the updated fee structure, marking a substantial reduction in costs for examinees availing these examination-related facilities.

REVISION OF VERIFICATION/CERTIFIED COPIES FEE OF THE CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS EXAMINATIONS
The Examination Committee of the Institute has decided to revise the verification & Certified Copies fee of answer books of the Chartered Accountants Examinations and accordingly, the revised fee is as under:
