ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountant of India) organizes the exam of CA Intermediate and CA IPCC twice in a year in the month of May and Nov. ICAI recently conducted the exam of CA IPCC and CA Intermediate in the month of November 2018, the result of which is awaited. In the recent announcement by ICAI, it announced that CA IPCC result Nov 2018 will be declared on 8th February 2019.
Somewhere near one lac, 50 thousand students appeared in the exam.
Once the exam is done, students are curious to know their results. ICAI takes approximate two and a half months to declare the result.
In the earlier announcement ICAI notified that it will release the result on 5th Feb 2019, but now it has revised the date of declaration of the result to 8th Feb 2019.

Procedure to Check CA IPCC/Intermediate Nov 2018 result.
ICAI releases the CA IPCC / Intermediate result along with the merit list up to rank 50 which will be available on icai’s website i.e., icaiexam.icai.org.
- To check the result for Nov 2018 exam you will have to log in with your credentials.
- Once you have logged in to your profile, click the link “View Results”.
- As you click the link, your result will reflect on the screen.
- Either you can download the result or take a pritout of it
Sometimes due to heavy traffic, ICAI’s server crashes. So they release the result on their alternate website icai.nic.in .
In order to see your result on the above mentioned site, you will need to enter your Roll number and Registration number or PIN. In case you forget your Roll number or login password of your profile there is no need to worry, you can easily recover them back.
ICAI has also made the facility for students of Nov 2018 attempt to check the result through Email and SMS.
For getting your exam result through Email, you will have to register for it first.
Steps to register for getting CA IPCC / Intermediate Nov. 2018 Result via Email.
- Go to the official website of ICAI which is icaiexam.icai.org.
- Login with your Email Id and password.
- To submit the details click the login button.
- Then click Link which mentions “Email Registration”.

To get the result through SMS, you should type:
Intermediate(IPC) Examination (Old Course)
CAIPCOLD (space) xxxxxx(where x is the 6 digit Intermediate(IPC) Examination Roll no. of the Candidate) For e.g.CAIPCOLD 000123
Intermediate Examination (New Course)
CAIPCNEW (space)XXXXXX (Where x is the 6 digit Intermediate(IPC) Examination Roll no. of the Candidate) , e.g.CAIPCNEW 000124.
