It has come to notice that many exporters are not submitting separate 6 monthly negative statement of the Authorized Dealer/CA in the prescribed format, i.e., for the period January –June/July – December for every year after 01.01.2004. As a result the details of export proceeds for export shipments made during the period of 6 months are not properly reflected.

Department of Agriculture, Co-operation and Farmers’ welfare has brought to the notice of this Directorate about various instances of non-compliance of Sanitary/ Phyto-sanitary measures by Indian Exporters while exporting goods. Importing Countries have been making complaints against Indian exporters, which amounts to disrepute to the image of the country and that can adversely impact the interest of other exporters as well as of country as a whole.
It is brought to the notice of the trade, public and all stake holders that with the objective of reducing physical interface between Customs, other regulatory agencies and the trade, and to further enhance the speed of clearance of import cargo, it has been decided to introduce a facility to upload digitally signed supporting documents on a pilot basis at Air Cargo Complex, New Delhi. The said pilot shall cover all types of imports under ICES.
