If you forgot both your registered email ID and password. What was the older option of getting access to your account in 2012 and also 2013 without otp ?
1. During 2012 (January – June) what was the process
2. During 2012 (July – Dec) what was the process
3. After that period – what was the process
Did the I.T. dept then stop sending password to unregistered email IDs ?
What was the old process and what is the new process if you forgot both?
When exactly did the process change?

If, a Non Resident wants to transfer his money from NRO Account to NRE Account, which is allowed by FEMA. He is required to file Form No.15CA and 15CB (Revised form).
However, while filing of the Form No.15CA it requires to give TAN Number as well as Tax Deducted at Soruce, which is not the case for transfer of money from NRO to NRE Account since the money to be transferred is tax paid income and which has already suffered the tax.
However the form requires TAN Number which NRI will not have. Similarly there is no question of TDS since no such tax is required to be deducted.
Therefore, Form No.15CA cannot be filed and NRI cannot transfer money from NRO Account to NRE Account.
Does any body have answer to above query?

Hi, I want to know how to post a income tax related question on your website?
Q. Can I simultaneously avail tax benefits on my home loan and HRA(SAME FLAT which has been bought as joint Parent and myself)?
I and my parents bought a flat together with equal contribution. I have taken home
loan whereas my parents paid same in cash.
I have paid Home Loan EMI to my bank and staying alone in flat with my wife (Not Parent).
Now My Mom asking for House Rent as we leaving in complete flat and I am paying to mom.
Now My question is that.. Would I am eligible for HRA and Home Loan tax Benefits both..
Please suggest my all possible ways to get exemption on Both
That is not Possible we strongly do not allow any such act.
It is suggested to make provision for print & convert in PDF commands which will make it easy to print or save the matter/article.
Is there any forum through which tax related queries could be answered ?

The Income Tax Calculator launched by Taxguru helps us so much. But , when we paid the salary to staffs, we deduct profession tax from the employees.
When a person calculate tax liability against salary, the said Profession tax has to be deducted from the Gross salary.
So, we feel uncomfortable in the absence of ” Profession Tax “deduction in the Income Tax Calculator software for accurate Tax Liability.
Request to update the Software at earliest.
