The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the postponement of its examinations originally scheduled for September 9th and 10th, 2025. This decision affects candidates only in Kathmandu, Nepal, and is a direct result of the ongoing protests in the region. The revised dates for these specific exams will be communicated to candidates in the near future. All other aspects and details of the examination schedule, as outlined in the announcement from May 30th, 2025, remain unchanged. Students are advised to regularly check the official ICAI website, www.icai.org, for further updates regarding the new exam dates.

Re: Postponement of Chartered Accountants Examinations scheduled to be held on 9th & 10th September 2025 in Kathmandu only
No. 13-CA (EXAM)/SEPTEMBER/2025/IV: In continuation of the Institute’s Important Announcement No. 13-CA(EXAM)/SEPTEMBER/2025 dated 30th May 2025, read with Announcement No. 13-CA (EXAM)/SEPTEMBER/2025/II dated 2nd September 2025 and Announcement No. 13-CA (EXAM)/SEPTEMBER/2025/III dated 5th September 2025 , it is announced for general information that in view of the widespread protests in Nepal , the Chartered Accountants Examinations scheduled to be held on 9th and 10th September 2025 stand postponed in Kathmandu (Nepal) only.
Revised dates for the exams scheduled on the above two dates in Kathmandu shall be announced soon.
However, it is clarified that other particulars / details as announced vide Important Announcement dated 30th May 2025 hosted on www.icai.org shall remain unchanged.
The candidates are advised to stay in touch with the website of the Institute, www.icai.org.
