Summary: The Board of Studies (Academic) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), through an announcement dated 2 September 2026, has announced commencement of Live Virtual Classes (LVC) for students of the CA Foundation course appearing in the January 2027 Examination under the New Scheme of Education and Training. The classes will commence from 16 September 2026 onwards.
The Foundation classes will be conducted in two daily sessions: Session I from 11.00 AM to 1.00 PM and Session II from 2.00 PM to 4.00 PM. Accounting and Business Laws classes will commence on 16 September 2026. Accounting will be conducted on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday from 11.00 AM to 1.00 PM, while Business Laws will be held on the same days from 2.00 PM to 4.00 PM. Quantitative Aptitude and Business Economics classes will commence on 17 September 2026 and will be conducted on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Quantitative Aptitude will run from 2.00 PM to 4.00 PM, while Business Economics will be held from 11.00 AM to 1.00 PM.
Students can join the Zoom classes through the BoS Knowledge Portal by entering their course, registration number and date of birth. ICAI has highlighted features including one-to-one interaction through Zoom, interactive doubt-resolution sessions, notes, assignments and MCQs, exam-centric guidance, classes by distinguished faculty and unlimited access to recorded lectures. Classes can also be accessed through the ICAI BOS mobile app, BoS Knowledge Portal and ICAI CA Tube on YouTube.
