01. About ReSTART Package
-Government of Andhra Pradesh announced ReSTART package
-This package provides certain financial benefits to the MSME and large units located in Andhra Pradesh.
-This package is announced vide G.O.Rt.No.103 dated 15-5-2020 and G.O.Rt.No.104 dated 19-05-2020.
-The objective of this package is to support the industrial units to enable them to restart their operations in wake of COVID-19.
-The package provides for 4 support measures.
-Release of 904.48Cr incentives to MSME units in 2 months period.
-These incentives are pending from 2014-15.
-Waiver of Fixed Demand Electricity Charges for MSME units for 3 months from April 2020 to June 2020
-For Large and Mega units postponement of Fixed Demand Electricity Charges of April to June 2020 for 3 months without interest.
02. Benefits under the package
1. Waiver of fixed /demand charges against contracted maximum demand for MSME manufacturing and allied units for a period of 3 months from April 2020 to June 2020
2.Working capital loans – To enable the Micro and Small Manufacturing and allied Units for meeting the liquidity crisis, a loan of Rs.2.00 Lakhs to Rs.10.00 Lakhs will be provided to MSMEs @ 6% – 8% interest rate plus processing fee of 0.25 %.
3. Deferment of fixed /demand charges against contracted maximum demand for Large and Mega Units for 3 months to all Large and Mega Industries without interest or penal charges from April 2020 to June 2020.
4. Preferential Market access policy – All Government entities shall procure at least 25% of their annual requirements of goods and services from the eligible Micro and Small Enterprises.

- Time limit to apply for these benefits is 30-06-2020.
- AP Government is planning 11 digits adhaar number for every industry to know the location and nature of industry.
