Things Professional can do at Home……….

Now, here are some suggestions for OFFICE WORK to do at home before actually you start office in next week.  Mainly it will help to those who are into GST and Income Tax practise.

On GST side-

1. You can select Monthly / Quarterly category for each client FOR 20-21. This can save your lot of time when office will be started.

2. By doing login for each client, Mostly It will prompt for password change. Because, you are doing login after so many months ( At least in many clients) . So better to do login for all clients. Otherwise, you will end up wasting lot of time once office will start. Because this password change is headache.

3. You can anyways file GSTR 3B / 1 for Feb if still pending. And you can start with March also. YOU DONT NEED SOFTWARES & all for basic returns.

4. You can make reconciliation for 18-19 for GSTR9/9C for those parties for which you already have tally data in Email or anywhere else like Hard disk, pen drive.

5. Last week, I have shared the simplest & best way you can read GST at home using ICAI Background material. I have already shared the topic wise you can read & brush up your basics.

On income Tax side –

You can do E-filling login & check following important things.

6. ITR status- ITR V recd.? / E-verification done? Return processed or not?

7. REFUND – Whether Refund has been received or not for AY 19-20?

8. 143.1 – Now you can check 143.1 orders in Efiling login also. This can help you to know whether any mistake in your return or whether correctly processed? No need to search Email.

9. E-PROCEEDING TAB TO CHECK – FOR ANY 143.1A response pending or not

10. OUTSTANDING DEMAND TAB – for checking STATUS of any outstanding demand

Other Miscellaneous  tasks

1. Clear you Gmail…Delete all unnecessary emails. ….since it has 15 GB capacity. Unless you have 100 GB plan. So, Clear your Junk Emails.

2. Clear Junk data or uselessly stored data in Laptop , Hard disks, Pen drives , PC at home.

3. Clear Phone..Take backup …Clear whatsapp pictures from  Gallery pictures

4. Learn Apps like Twitter , Instagram. It will help you to kill your time.
