Subject: Merchandise Exports from India Scheme (MEIS)-Amendments in Table 2 [containing ITC (HS) code wise list of products with reward rates] of Appendix 3B – Corrigendum to Public Notice No.27 dated July 14, 2015

In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020 and in partial modification of public notice No 27 dated July 14, 2015, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in Table 2 of Appendix 3B notified through Public Notice No.2 dated April 1,2015. This will be effective from July 14, 2015.

The MEIS rates of the following 118 lines are amended as under:

* The ITC (HS) codes for which a * is marked will get MEIS rewards @2% for exports to Japan. For other countries in the Group B, the rewards will not be available

# The ITC (HS) codes for which a # is marked will get MEIS rewards @2% for exports to Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. For other countries in the Group C, the rewards will not be available.

Effect of Public Notice:- Corrections in Public Notice 27 dated July 14, 2015 amending Table 2 [containing ITC (HS) code wise list of products with reward rates] of Appendix 3B under the Merchandise Exports from India Scheme (MEIS) are notified.
