ANNOUNCEMENT

13th October, 2017

Under the New Scheme of Education and Training, the eligibility criteria for Direct Entry Students is to complete Nine Months of Practical Training after undergoing Four Weeks Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS) Course.

It was earlier observed that Students will face hardship in completing nine months of Practical Training because they have to undergo four weeks ICITSS and thereafter commence their Practical Training and accordingly, to mitigate hardships of students who had registered for Intermediate Course during 1st July, 2017 to 31st July, 2017 through Direct Entry Route [under regulation 28F (4)] in completing nine months of Practical Training, the Council decided to allow them to appear in May, 2018 Intermediate Examination after completing eight months of Practical Training instead of nine months on the first day of the month, i.e. May 2018.

Further, now it has been observed that students could not commence their Practical Training by 1st September, 2017 as they were not able to complete their ICITSS due to various inevitable reasons. To mitigate the hardship, the Council has further decided to allow above category of students to appear in May, 2018 Intermediate Examination after undergoing Four weeks Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS) and completing seven months of Practical Training instead of eight months on the first day of the month, i.e. May 2018.
