5028. SHRI D.S. RATHOD:

Will the Minister of FINANCE be pleased to state:

a) whether the Government has issued any instructions to Public Sector Banks (PSBs) to provide ATM transaction slips in regional languages; and

b) if so, the details thereof and the steps taken by the Government in this regard?

Answer

The Minister of State in the Ministry of Finance (SHRI SANTOSH KUMAR GANGWAR)

(a) and (b) RBI has not issued any instructions to Public Sector Banks (PSBs) to provide ATM transaction slips in regional languages.
