PUBLIC NOTICE No. 175 (RE-2008)/2004-2009

NEW DELHI: Dated April 15, 2009

In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol 1 (RE – 2008):

1. In Appendix 30 A notified vide Public Notice 135 (RE 2008)

Dated 15th January 2009, in the column of Export Obligation Period against Sl No 1 (a), after the existing entry, the following shall be added:

“However, for imports completed up to 31.12.2008, Export Obligation Period (EOP) shall be 150 days from the date of clearance.”

2. After the first sentence of second sub para of Para 6.7 (c), as amended vide Public Notice No. 50 dated 17th July 2008, the following shall be inserted:

“However, for imports completed up to 31.12.2008, Export Obligation Period (EOP) shall be 150 days from the date of clearance.”

This issues in public interest.
