PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 2 (RE-2008) /2004-2009

NEW DELHI DATED THE 11th April, 2008

In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendment Public Notice No. 79 dated 2.1.2006:

1. Sl. No. 1 (v) of Public Notice No. 79 dated 2.1.2006 stands amended as follows:

“A copy of the MODVAT / CENVAT non-availment Certificate duly counter-signed by Central Excise Authority or a certificate from the Central Exciseauthorities that imported inputs have been used for the production of dutiable goods in his factory or in the factory of his supporting manufacturer. However, such certificate would not be required in case of export of non-dutiable products.”

This issues in Public interest.
