Public Notice No. 30/2002-07, issued on 12th August 2002 by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, announces amendments to the “Schedule of DEPB Rates” under the Export and Import Policy 2002-07. In the engineering product category, DEPB rates are revised for products such as CI pipes, bearings, and manganese steel castings. Additionally, new entries are added, including vitrified grinding wheels and PCB drills made from tungsten carbide. For chemicals, the DEPB rate for automobile tyres is adjusted, with specific value caps for different tyre types, while the rate for Quinalphos Technical is corrected. In the textile category, changes are made to the description and DEPB rates for shawls made from wool and Pashmina wool. The miscellaneous product category also sees corrections for sacking cloth and sacking made-ups, with adjusted value caps. These amendments ensure updates in the DEPB schedule for better compliance with the policy.
