S.O.(E). In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy 1997-2002, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby announces All Industry rate of duty drawback for the period from 1-6-2000 to 31-3-2001 as under:-
Description of item Rate of duty drawback Allocation
Bulk Tea Rs.2/- per Kg. All excise
This rate shall be applicable only in cases where excise duty has been paid on procurement of bulk tea by 100% Export Oriented Units and Units in Export Processing Zones, considered as deemed exports in terms of chapter 10 of the Export and Import Policy 1997-2002.
