S.O.(E) In exercise of powers conferred by section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act,1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with paragraph 1.3 and 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy ,1997-2002 (incorporating amendments made upto 31.3.2001), the Central Government hereby makes following amendments in the “ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items 1997-2002 (incorporating amendments made up to 31st August,1998)” and as amended from time to time; the existing entry and the amended entry are shown as follows:-
