S.O. (E). – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Joint Commissioner or Additional Commissioner of Customs (Port), Custom House, 15/1, Strand Road, Kolkata, to act as a common adjudicating authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on-
(i) the Additional Commissioner of Customs (Port), Custom House, 15/1, Strand Road, Kolkata; and
(ii) the Additional Commissioner of Customs (Imports), New Custom House, Ballard Estate, Mumbai, for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to Show Cause Notice pertaining to M/s New Star Enterprises, 129A, First Floor, DDA Flats, Shivaji Enclave Extension, New Delhi-110027, issued vide, F.No. DRI/AZU/INT¬41/2008-New Star, dated the 19th March, 2012, by the Joint Director, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Zonal Unit, Ahmedabad.
