PUBLIC NOTICE
The Income-tax Department intends to empanel Senior/ Junior Standing Counsel to represent it before the Nagpur Bench of Bombay High Court and Subordinate Courts/other Judicial forums. Applications are invited from members of Bar Council of Bombay High Court having experience in dealing with Income-tax/ Direct tax matters. The terms and conditions of appointment and duties to be performed as Senior/Junior Standing Counsel will be governed by Instruction No. 3/2012 dated 11.04.2012 in F.No.279/Misc/M-75/2011-ITJ, which can he down loaded from the Internet from www.incometaxindia.gov.in or can be collected from the Assistant Commissioner of Income tax, (HQ)(Tech.), 0/o the Chief Commissioner of Income-tax. Persons having requisite ‘qualifications, as enumerated in Instruction No. 3/2012, should submit their applications form in Proforma – A1/A2 (which is part of Instruction No. 3/2012) alongwith necessary documents in a sealed cover to the Chief Commissioner of Income-tax, Room No. 204, Aayakar Bhavan, Telangkhedi Road, Civil Lines, Nagpur-440 001 on or before 31.05.2012. Applications not submitted in the prescribed Proforma or incomplete in any respect are liable to be rejected.
