Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (Salary and Allowance payable to and other Terms and Conditions of Services of Chairperson and other members) Amendment Rules, 2012- Amendment in rule 3

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority Act, 1999 (41 of 1999), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Insurance Regulatory, and Development Authority (Salary and Allowances payable to and other Terms and Conditions of Services of Chairperson and other members) Rules, 2000, namely:-
1. (1) These rules may be called the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (Salary and Allowance payable to and other Terms and Conditions of Services of Chairperson and other members) Amendment Rules, 2012.
(2) These rules shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (Salary and Allowances payable to and other Terms and Conditions of Services of Chairperson and other Members) Rules, 2000, in rule 3, for the letters, figures and words “Rs.3.00 lakh per month and Rs. 2.50 lakh per month”, the letters, figures and words “Rs.3,75,000 per month and Rs. 3,12,500 per month” shall be substituted.
