Notification No. 50/2003-Customs

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India, in the erstwhile Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) vide No.82/2002-Customs, dated the 13th August, 2002, namely,-

In the said notification, in the condition (ii), for the words ” Chief Commissioner “, wherever they occur, the word “Commissioner” shall be substituted.

2. This notification shall come into force on the 1st day of April, 2003.
