Notification No. 82/2004-Customs  

 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section(1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962),  the Central Government,  being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, makes the  following further amendments in the  notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance ( Department of Revenue),  No. 21/2002-Customs,  dated the 1st March, 2002,  namely:-

In the said notification, in the Table,-

(i )   against S. No. 73, for the entry in column (4), the entry ” 5% ” shall be substituted;

(ii) after S. No. 75A and the entries relating thereto, the following  S. Nos. and entries shall be inserted, namely :-

(1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6)
” 75B. 2710 11 Motor Spirit 15%
75C. 2710 19 30 High Speed Diesel (HSD) 15%
75D. 2711 19 00 Liquefied Petroleum Gases ( LPG ) 5% -“.

Note: The principal notification No. 21/2002-Customs dated the 1st March, 2002 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i ) vide G.S.R 118 (E) dated the 1st March, 2002 and was last amended by notification No. 77/2004-Customs dated the 26th July 2004 which was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i ) vide G.S.R 480 (E) dated the 26th July 2004.
