Section 621 of the Companies Act, 1956 – Offences against Act to be cognizable only on complaint by Registrar, shareholder or Government – Authorization of certain officers in Serious Fraud Investigation Office for purposes of filing and conducting prosecution under Act

NOTIFICATION NO. G.S.R. 867(E), DATED 29-10-2010,

ISSUED BY MINISTRY OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 621 of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956), the Central Government hereby authorizes the following officers in the Serious Fraud Investigation Office, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, for the purposes of filing and conducting prosecution under the Companies Act, 1956, namely :–

1. Shri Onkar Nath Tiwari, Prosecutor-II

2. Shri Rajesh Sharma, Assistant Director

3. Shri Utpal Nath, Assistant Director
