Notification No. 71/2006-CUSTOMS (N.T.)

S.O.    (E). – In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs, hereby appoints the Commissioner of Customs (Imports), New Customs House, Ballard Estate, Mumbai, and authorises him to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on –

(i) The Commissioner of Customs (Imports), Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust, Nhava Sheva; Uran, Raigad,  Maharashtra;

(ii) The Commissioner of Customs (Imports), Air Cargo Complex, Sahar, Mumbai; and

(iii) The Joint Commissioner of Customs (Imports), Air Cargo, New Custom House, Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi,

for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to Show Cause Notice pertaining to M/s Sagar Electronics at 599, Old Lajpat Rai Market, Delhi  and others issued, vide, DRI F.No. 50D/126/2004-CI (C.P.G.-III), dated the 18th May, 2005 by the Additional Director General, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, 7th Floor, I.P. Bhavan, I.P. Estate, New Delhi.
