Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) announced record-breaking sales figures for October 2026, marking the company’s highest-ever monthly sales volume. The automotive giant sold a total of 276,120 units, surpassing previous records and reflecting robust demand across both domestic and international markets. Domestic sales alone reached an unprecedented 216,789 units, highlighting the strong consumer preference for Maruti Suzuki vehicles in India.
The company’s domestic passenger vehicle sales, which include popular models such as the Alto, Baleno, and Swift, amounted to 212,384 units. This represents a significant increase from the 176,318 units sold in the same month last year. The utility vehicle segment, featuring models like the Brezza and Grand Vitara, also saw a substantial rise, with sales climbing to 97,787 units from 77,571 units in October 2025. The van segment, represented by the Eeco, maintained steady performance with sales of 13,720 units.
In addition to domestic sales, Maruti Suzuki’s export figures also demonstrated notable growth. The company exported 49,872 units in October 2026, a substantial increase from the 31,304 units exported in the same period last year. Sales to other original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) reached 9,459 units, further contributing to the company’s overall sales success.
The impressive sales performance in October 2026 underscores Maruti Suzuki’s strong market position and its ability to meet diverse consumer needs. Analysts attribute this growth to the company’s strategic focus on expanding its product lineup and enhancing its distribution network. The automotive market’s recovery and increasing consumer confidence have also played a pivotal role in boosting sales figures. As the industry continues to evolve, Maruti Suzuki’s robust sales performance positions it well for sustained growth in the coming months.
