The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), through its Board of Studies (Academic), announced on 31 July 2026 that it has initiated a comprehensive review of the existing Scheme of Education and Training to ensure that the Chartered Accountancy Course remains contemporary, globally benchmarked, professionally relevant and future-ready. As part of this initiative, ICAI has invited feedback and suggestions from members, students, industry professionals, academicians and other interested stakeholders. According to the announcement, the feedback received will contribute to strengthening and modernizing the education and training framework of the Chartered Accountancy profession in India. Stakeholders have been requested to submit their feedback through the official online feedback form on or before 18 August 2026. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has initiated a comprehensive review of the existing Scheme of Education and Training to ensure that the Chartered Accountancy Course remains contemporary, globally benchmarked, professionally relevant and future-ready.
As part of this important initiative, ICAI invites valuable feedback and suggestions from all stakeholders, including members, students, industry professionals, academicians and other interested stakeholders.
