Referring to Regulation 3 of the Company Secretaries Regulations, 1982, ICSI emphasized that members are legally required to communicate any changes in their registered particulars within the prescribed timeframe. The Institute cautioned that outdated or inaccurate records may lead to discrepancies affecting election-related communications, voter information, and access to electronic voting facilities. Members have also been advised to ensure that unique mobile numbers and email IDs are linked to their membership records, as the use of common contact details by multiple members could create verification issues and hinder the receipt of important election notifications. To avoid disruptions during the upcoming election process, members should promptly review and update their information through the Stimulate Portal or seek assistance from the Directorate of Member Services.

ADVISORY TO MEMBERS
Members are advised to ensure that their Professional Address, Residential Address, Mobile Number and E-mail ID as appearing in the records of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) are accurate and up to date.
Attention is invited to Regulation 3 of the Company Secretaries Regulations, 1982, which requires every member to communicate any change in the particulars entered in the Register of Members to the Institute within the prescribed period. Failure to update such particulars may result in discrepancies in Institute records and may affect election-related communications and voter information.
Members are further advised to ensure that a unique mobile number and email ID are registered against their Membership records for election-related communications and authentication. The use of common mobile numbers or email IDs by multiple Members should be strictly avoided, as it may lead to difficulties in verification, receipt of election-related information, and access to electronic voting facilities.
Members are requested to review and update their contact details, wherever necessary, well before the election process commences.
