It has been decided to extend the Master Direction – Know Your Customer (KYC) Direction, 2016 to all Housing Finance Companies. Instructions/ guidelines/ regulations contained in the circulars mentioned in the Appendix, issued by National Housing Bank (erstwhile regulator of Housing Finance Companies) stand repealed.

Based on the requests received from market participants and in the context of the difficulties arising from the outbreak of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), it has been decided that the Directions will now come into effect from September 1, 2020.
All foreign exchange non-deliverable derivative contracts (involving Rupee or otherwise) undertaken by banks in India through their IBUs or through their branches in India or through their foreign branches (in case of foreign banks operating in India, through any branch of the parent bank), shall be reported to CCIL’s reporting platform with effect from June 1, 2020.

SEBI circular No. CFD/CMD/CIR/P/2017/115 dated October 10, 2017 lays down the procedure to be followed by the recognized stock exchanges / depositories with respect to MPS non-compliant listed entities, their promoters and directors, including levy of fines, freeze of promoter holding etc.
Government of India has approved the extension of Interest Equalization Scheme for pre and post shipment Rupee export credit, with same scope and coverage, for one more year i.e. upto March 31, 2021. The extension shall take effect from April 01, 2020 and end on March 31, 2021 covering a period of one year.
