Kindly note that the last date for filing the Form 23B without fee has been extended for two weeks. Fee shall be charged on any eForm 23B filed on or after 5th August, 2012. You are therefore advised to file the pending eForms within the time limit to avoid any last minute rush.
The information is to be filed in Form 5- INV as per the above mentioned rules; and thereafter an excel sheet containing detailed investor wise details is to be filed separately. The e Form, the excel template and detailed steps are provided in the IEPF application link on the portal www.iepf.gov.in.For financial year ended on 31st March 2011, the eForm should be filed latest by 31st July 2012.
52/17/CAB‐2011 In continuation of MCA’s General Circular No. 8/2012 dated 10th May, 2012, it has been decided that filing of Cost Audit Reports and Compliance Reports with the Central Government in the XBRL mode shall be allowed after 31st July, 2012.
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has notified that Investor Education and Protection Fund (Uploading of information regarding unpaid and unclaimed amounts lying with companies) Rules, 2012, has mandated every company to file e-Form 5INV containing the information of unclaimed and unpaid amounts as referred to in subsection (2) of section 205C of the Companies Act, 1956.
LLP Registry is Now Merged with MCA-21 and Decentralization of LLP Approval to Various ROCs – The Ministry of Corporate Affairs, has achieved a new milestone by integrating e-Governance project for Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) under the platform of MCA21. This initiative has been taken on the advice of Union Corporate Affairs Minster Dr. M.Veerappa Moily.
The documents already filed by the LLPs (i.e. pre 11th June’2012) are in the process of being transferred to the MCA21 electronic record room. This may take a few days time. The View Public Document and Get Certified Copies facility for these would be available as soon as this activity is complete.
NEW LLP PORTAL – GUIDELINES FOR STAKE HOLDERS – USER REGISTRATION & LOGIN Any user willing to avail any LLP related service for which payment of fees is required need to register on MCA21 system. For registration, users have been categorised into following two categories: a) Registered User b) Business User – these are further categorised into following roles · Designated partner · Practicing Professional · Authorised representative of a Foreign LLP
The National Voluntary Guidelines (NVG) on Social, Economic and Environmental Responsibilities of Business were released by the Ministry on 8th July, 2011. Subsequently, a Committee was constituted for formulating a reporting framework in an electronic format (on MCA-21 platform) for disclosure of information in terms of the NVG. The format suggested by the Committee for reporting of CSR activities as per the NVG was submitted to the Ministry recently. It is placed for information of all stakeholders for wider dissemination.
