Request for Extension of date of normal return of income Tax till 31st August

Sub: Extension of data of normal return of income Tax till 31st August

Respected Sir.

Last date of filing of Income Tax return is 31st July. But you know that  last year work of financial year ending March 2021 is completed in the March 2022 and now all the tax payers salaried and general tax payer’s last date is 31st July and non-audited return is also 31st July. But you know that normaly previously last date of filing of non-audited return was 31st August and in last month for 10 days Internet was closed due to curfew. Looking to the above facts and requests from different Tax Bar Associations and Chambers of Commerce please extend the date of above returns for one month i.e. till 31st August. So it is demand from all tax payers of Rajasthan i.e. Barmer, Ajmer, Kishangarh, Pali, Sirohi, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Jaipur, Churu, Ganganagar, Alwar, Kota, Bhilwara, Udaipur that date of filing of Income Tax return should be extended for 31 days upto 31st August. You know that presently heavy rains are there in the State of Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra. Due to that reason business is also effected. There is some technical problem in the site for linking in Adhaar Card and PAN Card and seeing all these difficulties please extend the date of filing of Income Tax Return upto 31st August.
