On the basis of intelligence, office, of Anti-Evasion branch of CGST Delhi South Commissionerate have booked a case against M/s. SPNN Business Services Private Limited, which deals with manpower supply,having their principal place of business at Ground Floor, 45-A, Pocket-I, Sector-7,Dwarka, New Delhi-110075 for not depositing the collected tax of Rs. 24.96 crores with the intent to defraud the exchequer. The taxpayer was showing different figures in his GSTR1 and GSTR3B returns with the intent to suppress the value of supply services in the GSTR3B to evade payment of GST. During the search operation, the taxpayer made a deposit of Rs. 7.70 cr.
Shri Prateek jha, Director who is responsible for all the day to day activities of the firm including its financial decisions, has been arrested on 03.02.2021 and was produced before the Hon’ble Metropolitan Magistrate. Further investigation is in progress.
Firm action taken by CGST Delhi Zone in this financial year i.e.2020-21.has resulted in detection of GST evasion of Rs. 3791.65 Crores and 20 accused have been arrested so far.
