The Public Sector Oil Marketing Companies have started placing details of the components of petrol prices on their websites. The measure will help the people in understanding mechanism of the pricing of petroleum products. The companies include Indian Oil Corporation, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited.
According to an official release, the price build-up information has also been made available on the websites of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
Users can now easily get the information about price build up of petroleum products from any location. The information regarding price build up in respect of Diesel, PDS Kerosene and Domestic LPG was already available on the ministry’s website
