Tech Mahindra Limited, a leading Indian multinational technology company, has announced the approval of its audited financial results for the second quarter and half year ended 30 September 2026. The announcement was made following a board meeting held on 15 October 2026. The board has declared an interim dividend of Rs. 15 per equity share, representing a 300% payout on the face value of Rs. 5 per share for the financial year 2026-27. The record date for the interim dividend has been set for 23 October 2026, with the payment to be made by 13 November 2026.
In addition to the interim dividend, the board has recommended the issuance of bonus equity shares in a 1:1 ratio. This means that shareholders will receive one new fully paid-up bonus equity share for every existing share held. The bonus shares will be issued by capitalising amounts from the company’s Securities Premium Account, General Reserves, Retained Earnings, or other permitted reserves. The record date for the bonus share entitlement will be announced separately.
The board also approved an increase in the authorised share capital of the company from Rs. 924.3 crore to Rs. 1,000 crore. This increase necessitates an amendment to the Memorandum of Association. The proposed bonus issue and the increase in authorised share capital are subject to shareholder approval through a postal ballot.
Tech Mahindra’s financial results, along with the unmodified audit reports, press release, and quarterly earnings presentation, have been made available on the company’s website. The board meeting, which commenced at 2:30 p.m. and concluded at 4:45 p.m., was adjourned to reconvene on 16 October 2026.
Market analysts view these announcements as a positive signal of Tech Mahindra’s strong financial health and shareholder-friendly approach. The interim dividend and bonus share issue are expected to enhance investor confidence and potentially attract new investors, reflecting the company’s robust performance and strategic growth plans.
