Mumbai, October 15, 2026: Polycab India Limited, a leading manufacturer of wires and cables, has announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2026, reporting its highest-ever revenue and profitability for both periods. The company’s consolidated revenue for the second quarter of FY27 surged by 53% year-on-year to ₹98,989 million, driven by robust performance across its Wires & Cables (W&C) and Fast-Moving Electrical Goods (FMEG) segments. The company also reported a 39% increase in EBITDA to ₹14,225 million, with a 43% rise in profit after tax (PAT) to ₹9,900 million.
For the half-year period, Polycab achieved a significant milestone, with revenues surpassing ₹180 billion for the first time, marking a 46% year-on-year growth. The company’s EBITDA for the half-year rose by 36% to ₹25,587 million, while PAT increased by 38% to ₹17,867 million. The W&C business, a major contributor to Polycab’s revenue, recorded a 44% growth in the first half of FY27, supported by strong domestic demand and international expansion. The FMEG segment also delivered impressive results, with a 97% increase in revenue, driven by strong demand across key product categories.
Chairman and Managing Director, Mr. Inder T. Jaisinghani, attributed the company’s success to its strong market position and the robust performance of its core businesses. He highlighted the favourable domestic demand environment, supported by infrastructure spending and increasing electrification opportunities, as key drivers of growth. Despite geopolitical uncertainties, Polycab’s international business maintained its growth momentum, contributing to the overall positive performance.
Analysts view Polycab’s results as a testament to its strategic initiatives, including Project Spring, which focuses on accelerating growth and deepening market penetration. The company’s strong financial performance, coupled with its healthy order book and diversified geographic presence, positions it well for sustained growth in the coming quarters. As Polycab continues to focus on operational excellence and value creation, it remains well-placed to navigate the evolving market landscape.
