PwC has bagged the ‘India Tax Firm of the Year’ award from the International Tax Review (ITR), an globally reputed magazine focusing on international tax strategy. The award was presented at the ITR Asia Tax Awards ceremony held yesterday in Singapore, a statement from the company said here today.
PwC India tax & regulatory services joint leader Shyamal Mukherjee said, “the fact we have won the award two years in a row makes the win more satisfying. The award is a consequence of the support from our clients, our vast talent pool and our service capabilities.”With over 6,000 employees, PwC India is one of the largest professional services network firms in the country. Its tax practice alone has over 50 partners and over 1,200 employees.

The PwC network has also won the Asian Tax Firm of the year award along with Tax Firm of the year award for China, Singapore, Australia, Indonesia, Taiwan and Thailand this year. Leading firms from over 10 Asian countries competed in various categories, the statement added.
