The 10th ICSI National Awards for Excellence in Corporate Governance for 2010 were presented at a function at New Delhi on the December 16, 2010 to :
Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Limited & Larsen & Toubro Limited
Mr. Umang Vohra, Chief Financial Officer, received the Award on behalf of Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Limited and Mr. Y M Deosthalee, Whole time Director and Chief Financial Officer, received the Award on behalf of Larsen & Toubro LImited
The Company Secretaries of Awardee companies, Mr. Sandeep Poddar, Company Secretary of Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Limited and Mr. N. Hariharan, Vice-President (Secretarial) & Company Secretary of Larsen & Toubro Limited, were also honoured for their contribution in adhering to good corporate governance practices.
The awards were presented at the gracious hands of Shri Pranab Mukherjee, Hon’ble Finance Minister of India. Mr. Philip Armstrong, Head, Global Corporate Governance Forum, Washington was the keynote speaker. Members of Jury, captains of industry, large number of distinguished professionals, members and students of the Institute were also present.
