I am basically from Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, completed B.Com., in April 1987, joined as Article Assistant with M/s.Chokshi and Co, Fort, Mumbai based Chartered Accountants and completed CA-Inter. Worked in various establishments in trading, manufacturing, automobiles, diamonds, exports imports from November-1990 to May-2008, In June-2008 joined with M/s.Hathway Cables and Datacom Ltd., as Regional Manager-Accounts, handled branch accounts of Chennai, Coimbatore, Trichirapalli and Tirupur. Unfortunately Hathway was forced to close their entire operations in Tamilnadu locations in October 2010 by political pressures from DMK led Government, since Hathway was the main competitor of Sumagali's (SunTV groups) in cable-tv networks. Then I started practicing taxation, and consultancy works etc.
Job Experience
I had 30+ years experience in accounts, audit, taxation, imports, exports etc. I got an opportunity to work in diamond and jewellery manufacturing industry with M/s.Fire-star Diamond Pvt. Ltd. (PNB scam famous Shri Nirav Deepak Modi) as Accounts Manager for the period from 01-June-2004 to 31-May-2008. Fire-star was doing good and excellent those days because only they concentrating importing rough diamonds, cutting, polishing and exporting both polished diamonds and jewelries. The glitches started when they start rich retail outlets all over the globe spending very huge amount for branding and marketing.
Job Skills
Taxation in both direct and indirect, internal audit, documentations, tax savings, finalization and filing of ITRs, appear hearings etc
