Joined National Defence Academy in July 1965. Commissioned into Regiment of Artillery in Jun 1969. Served for 27 years in various command and staff appointments. Was awarded VSM in 1992. Took premature retirement in Jul 95 from Defence Services Staff College, where I was a member of the Faculty. Got into real estate development on retirement. Incorporated own company named Covai Property Centre (I) P Ltd in Coimbatore. Entered into senior living or retirement communities project in 2004. Created Brand CovaiCare. Today Team CovaiCare and Colonel are considered as pioneers in elderly care.
