Goods and Services Tax Council has issued an Office Memorandum dated 02-07-2024 announcing a partial modification to the Group of Ministers (GoM) on Rate Rationalization. The reconstituted GoM membership includes Shri Samrat Chaudhary as Convenor, along with members Shri Suresh Kumar Khanna, Shri Gajendra Singh, Smt. Chandrima Bhattacharya, Shri Krishna Byre Gowda, and Shri K. N. Balagopal. The modification maintains unchanged terms of reference for the GoM, and the memorandum is issued with the approval of the competent authority. Copies have been distributed to various government officials and relevant stakeholders for necessary action.

In partial modification to the Office Memorandum 366/GoMonRateRationalization/GSTC/2022/10514-22 dated 28.02.2024 on the subject cited above, the reconstituted membership of the GoM on Rate Rationalization is as follows:
