- CA. Jagvinder Bir Singh (Membership No. 086787) from New Delhi was found guilty under Items (6), (7), and (8) of Part I of Second Schedule to the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949. His name is removed for 2 years.
- CA. Haresh Ramji Joshi (Membership No. 033489) from Mumbai, guilty under Item (2) of Part IV and Item (7) of Part I of Second Schedule, faces removal for 1 year.
- CA. Dhirendra Datta (Membership No. 080097) from New Delhi, guilty under Clauses (6) and (7) of Part I of Second Schedule, faces removal for 1 month.
- CA. N Narasimhan (Membership No. 081983) from New Delhi, guilty under Clauses (5), (7), and (8) of Part I of Second Schedule, faces removal for 6 months.
- CA. Sachin Madhukar Pachkhede (Membership No. 104660) from Navi Mumbai, guilty under Items (5), (6), (7), and (9) of Part I of Second Schedule, faces removal for 3 months and a fine of Rs. 1,00,000.
- CA. V Nagarajan (Membership No. 024450) from Chennai, originally ordered removed for 2 years, had the duration reduced to 3 months by an Appellate Authority under Section 22G of the Act.
- CA. Siddharth Shyam Shetye (Membership No. 116188) from Pune, guilty under Item (7) of Part I of Second Schedule, faces removal for 6 months and a fine of Rs. 1,00,000.
- A. Pawan Gupta (Membership No. 092170) has been found guilty of Professional Misconduct under Items (5), (6), (7), (8), and (9) of Part I of the Second Schedule to the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949. Following due process and after affording an opportunity to be heard, the Disciplinary Committee has ordered the removal of CA. Pawan Gupta’s name from the Register of Members for a period of one month. This order, effective from 28th June 2024, is in accordance with Regulation 18 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations 1988.
- CA. Anil Saxena (Membership No. 089136) has been found guilty of Professional and Other Misconduct under Item (2) of Part IV of the First Schedule and Item (7) of Part I of the Second Schedule to the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949. The Disciplinary Committee, following due process and after providing an opportunity for hearing, has ordered the removal of CA. Anil Saxena’s name from the Register of Members for a period of three months. Additionally, a fine of Rs. 25,000/- has been imposed, payable within 60 days of receipt of the order.
- CA. Narinder Kumar (Membership No. 097974) from Faridabad was found guilty under Clauses (5), (6), (7), and (8) of Part I of the Second Schedule and Clause (2) of Part IV of the First Schedule to the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949. His name is removed for 1 year.
- CA. Radhakrishnan A R (Membership No. 022921) from Bengaluru was found guilty under Item (7) of Part I of the Second Schedule to the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949. His name is removed for 2 months and a fine of Rs. 20,000 was imposed.
- CA Atish Omprakashji Kabra has been found guilty of professional and other misconduct under Item (4) of Part II of the Second Schedule and Item (2) of Part IV of the First Schedule of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949. As a result, the Disciplinary Committee has decided to remove him from the Register of Members for three months, effective from 28th June 2024.
- Similarly, CA Tej Prasad Paudel was found guilty of professional misconduct under Item (7) of Part I of the Second Schedule of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949. After a thorough investigation, the disciplinary action decided upon was his removal from the Register of Members for one month, also effective from 28th June 2024.
- CA Raghunathan R was also found guilty of professional misconduct under Item (7) of Part I of the Second Schedule of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949. The disciplinary action against him includes a ninety-day removal from the Register of Members and a fine of Rs. 20,000, effective from 28th June 2024.
These actions follow investigations and hearings conducted by the Disciplinary Committee of ICAI, adhering to rules stipulated in the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949. Each notification specifies the period of removal and any additional penalties imposed, emphasizing the institute’s commitment to upholding professional standards among its members.

No. PR/G/651/2022/DD/538/2022/DC/1741/2023.— In terms of the provisions of Section 21B(3) of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 read with Rule 18(17) of the Chartered Accountants (Procedure of Investigations of Professional and Other Misconduct and Conduct of Cases) Rules, 2007, the Disciplinary Committee has held CA. Raghunathan R (Membership No. 024201), Plot No. 108, Sri Thirumal Nagar, Tirupanikarisalkulam, Vaduganpatti P O, TIRUNELVELI 627010, guilty of Professional Misconduct falling within the meaning of Item (7) of Part I of Second Schedule to the aforesaid Act and consequently after affording an opportunity of being heard in terms of Rule 19(1) of the aforesaid Rules, ordered for removal of name of CA. Raghunathan R (Membership No. 024201) from the Register of Members for a period of 90 (Ninety) days and also imposed a fine of Rs. 20,000/-(Rupees Twenty Thousand only) to be paid within 90 (Ninety) days and in case of default in payment of fine within stipulated time, his name be removed from the Register of Members for a further period of 30 (Thirty) days. Since the Respondent has already paid the imposed fine within stipulated time, in pursuance of the aforesaid Order of the Disciplinary Committee and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 20 of the aforesaid Act, it is hereby notified under Regulation 18 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations 1988, that the name of CA. Raghunathan R (Membership No. 024201), shall stand removed from the Register of Members for a period of 90 (Ninety) days with effect from 28th June, 2024.
