The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has issued a public notice adding several new agencies to Appendix 2G of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2023. These agencies are authorized to operate in specified countries and regions. The notice outlines the head office and branch office addresses for each agency. It also mandates that the newly notified Pre-Shipment Inspection Agencies (PSIA) must update their membership certificates and contact details within 30 days.
Effects of this Public Notice:
- 16 new agencies have been notified as PSIAs.
- Additional instruments for 2 existing PSIAs have been notified.
- The area of operation for 24 existing PSIAs has been revised.
