Notification No. 72/2008-Customs (N.T.)

S.O. (E). – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Commissioner of Customs, The Mall, Amritsar to act as a common adjudicating authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on

(i) the Commissioner of Customs, Export Promotion Commissionerate, Ballard Estate, New Custom House, Mumbai;

(ii)  the Commissioner of Customs, (Export), 60, Rajaji Salai, Chennai; and

(iii) the Commissioner of Customs, (Port), 15/1, Strand Raod, Custom House, Kolkata

for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to show cause notice  pertaining to M/s Gold Star Industries, B-70, Phase VIII, Focal Point, Ludhiana and Others issued vide, DRI F.No. 856(41)LDH/2005, dated the 26th July, 2007, by the Additional Director General, Directorate General of Revenue Intelligence, Ludhiana Regional Unit, Ludhiana.
