S.O. (E). – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Assistant Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Mundra to act as a Common Adjudicating Authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on-
(i) the Assistant Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Mundra; and
(ii) the Assistant Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Kandla for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to show cause notice pertaining to M/s Jay Jalaram Saw Mill, Jasodanagar Highway Crossroad, PO-Vatva GIDC, Vatva, Ahmedabad-382445 and others issued, vide F.No.DRI/CZU/VIC/26/ENQ-04(INT-nil) /2014 dated the 09th June, 2014 by the Deputy Director, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Regional Unit, Hyderabad.
