Notification No. 29/2004-Central Excise (N.T.)

In exercise of the powers conferred by  rule 18 of the Central Excise Rules, 2002, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), number 20/2004-Central Excise (N.T.), dated the 6^th September, 2004, namely: –

In the said notification, in Explanation-I for (g) and the entry relating thereto the following shall be substituted, namely: –

“(g) Education cess on excisable goods as levied under section 91 read with section 93 of the Finance (No.2) act 2004(23 of 2004).”
