Amends notification No. 14/2002-Central Excise (N.T.) Dated 8th March, 2002

Notification No. 05/2004-Central Excise (N.T.)

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (2) of rule 3 of the Central Excise Rules, 2002, the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 14/2002-Central Excise (N.T.), dated the 8th March, 2002, namely: –

1. In the said notification,-

i) in Table I, against S.No.14 ,in column(2), for the entry, the entry “Mysore” shall be substituted; and

ii) in Table IA, against S.No.14, in column(2), for the entry, the entry  “Mysore” shall be substituted.

2. This notification will come in to effect on and from the 1st day of March, 2004.

Note: The principal notification No. 14/2002-Central Excise (N.T.), dated the 8th March, 2002 was published in the Gazette of India vide G.S.R. 182 (E), dated the 8th March, 2002 and was last amended by notification No 3/2004-Central Excise (N.T.), dated the 4th February, 2004 [G.S.R. 98(E), dated the 4th February, 2004].
