Notification No. 7/2002-Central Excise (N.T.)
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), , namely,-
In the said notification, for the words and figures “articles of apparel, not knitted or crocheted, all sorts, falling under sub-heading No. 6201.00”, the words and figures “articles of apparel, whether or not knitted or crocheted, all sorts, falling under sub-heading No. 6101.00 or 6201.00” shall be substituted.
